18 March 2011- Howth, Ireland

As you can see from the pictures, we hiked the cliff to Heaven. Howth was only 30 minutes outside Dublin by train and it was the best 4.50 euro I have ever spent on a ticket. This place was beautiful and so calm and peaceful compared to Dublin. Definitely had the feel of a little beach city, and I did not want to leave. And yes, I was hiking in my knee high boots and dress, while Jessica was hiking in heels. We are true champs and I like to look the part.

17 March 2011- IRELAND FOR ST. PATRICK'S DAY

I have no words to describe the atmosphere in Dublin on St. Patrick's Day, except for mayhem and tons of fun. Oh and maybe a little out of control :). From our hotel we had a view of the street, so we had the best seats in the house for the Parade. The parade was bizarre and there were lots of images of dead things and skeletons. It was definitely on the creepy side and I don't know if there is a cultural, Irish background behind it or if it was just the weirdest theme in the whole entire world...

This wasn't our room, but I like to think it was!

I mean you have to have at least one Tri Delt picture...

This was a shot in honor of Danny Keagbine :)

4 March 2011- My New Parents Take Me to Stonehenge, Lacock, and Bath for the Day

Here are some pictures of Bath. Our tour didn't include cover into the Roman Baths and we didn't feel like paying to see them, so we imagined them in our heads instead and decided to go shopppingggg.

4 March 2011- My New Parents Take Me to Stonehenge, Lacock, and Bath for the Day

Lacock is where we ate lunch and I went out on a food limb. I tried the beef wellington and indulged with dessert also, sticky toffee pudding. It was heaven. What I have to say next, Papa will absolutely love. Parts of Harry Potter were filmed in the restaurant we ate at and also in another house on the street. Allyson is a HUGE Harry Potter fan, and she almost died with excitement. But besides lunch and Harry Potter, there is nothing else to do in Lacock. We were only there for about an hour.

Lunch

This is my attempt at taking a picture of the house filmed in Harry Potter from inside the moving bus... :)

4 March 2011- My New Parents Take Me to Stonehenge, Lacock, and Bath for the Day

This is the day trip I did with Allyson and her parents. We went to Windsor (I had already been there during my homestay), Stonehenge, Lacock, and Bath. Stonehenge was by far my favorite and it was very interesting to listen to the history about these giant stones. I'm with dad on this one, aliens put them there...

3 March 2011- London Eye

This week Allyson's mom and dad were here and I decided to adopt them as my temporary parents. I went to the London Eye with them at night and it was AMAZING. You could see all the lights in the city. Take a look for yourself...
