25 February 2011- London Fashion Weekend

The fashion show was by far my favorite thing we saw that day. On the catwalk we saw two walks on new trends and then two designers. The trends were swan vesta and lady brights. Swan vesta was lace and was inspired by the movie Black Swan, while Lady Brights was the bright colors of spring and summer. The two designers were Bora Aksu Spring Summer 2011 Collection and Mark Fast Spring Summer 2011 Collection. Mark Fast was by far my favorite.

Before that though, Jessica, Christine, and I cruised around all the designer booths and did some shopping. Well actually, window shopping. Since everything is designer the sales discounts still didn't seem to make a difference...bummer. My two purchases were this bejeweled, silver headband and this coral, red lipstick from Elizabeth Arden. It was the same color and brand they used in all the hair and makeup for the catwalk. Even though it's a bright color, it looks good on anyone! I was tempted to buy this juicy couture perfume ring, but I just couldn't pull myself to do it...I regret it now! I tried it on and everything...
