9 January 2011

First day of shopping in London and we went to Oxford Street and Covent Garden. It's a trip that i'll definitely making a lot...sorry, but I can't help myself. I need to feed the addiction. It was raining and really cold that day so we only went into Topshop, Urban Outfitters, and H&M. Topshop was HUGE and so overwhelming. It was like 4 stories and it had a restaurant, hair salon, nail salon, everything you could imagine. I saw a couple things that I really liked, but I couldn't will myself to buy a shirt for 30-50 pounds....be proud of me, Mom. Oh I also got recruited to be an Abercrombie Model...hahahaha too funny.

I didn't really like any thing in Urban or H&M. The clothes/styles were different. The people here looove fur...they have fur coats, fur vests, fur boots, fur ear warmers, fur russian hats...I would never wear it in the States, but since being around it here, I want one. So weird, but I love it!

Covent Garden is a really cool outdoorsy mall type place. It has shops, restaurants, street performers, and locals selling things like at our Saturday market. My friend told me to go to Ben's Cookies, so I went and she was right when she said they have the best cookies in the whole entire world. They are so good! I got oatmeal raisin, but they have a ton of other flavors. Every time I go there now, I'm going to have to get one.
