Well basically all I've been up to is orientation for Arcadia University (my study abroad program) and now, for City University. For the Arcadia orientation we were staying in hotels. On one of the days the staff setup a scavenger hunt for everyone in order to get familiar with the area and the public transportation. It was fun, but when we got to all these cool places, I wanted to stop and take longer to see them, rather than rushing through and moving on to the next one. I've met a lot of people who are going to City and are in the same program as me. There is like 20 of us, basically half being from Chapman!
I'm finally moved into the dorms and let's just say that I'm spoiled at Chapman....we call it the shit hole or jail....sorry Camden if you're reading this, just ignore that one word :)
We had our first orientation day at City today and we got a brief overview on basically everything. They said that study abroad students can play on the sports teams here, so I might play on the womens football team! We also went on a historical walking tour around the university and I learned some really interesting things:
This is where Charles Dickens went to the bank in London. The Finsbury Bank of Savings

This is the gate that leads to the oldest church in London. It has been in many movies, like Sherlock Holmes, 4 Weddings and a Funeral, and more

This is the oldest hospital in London.
New sights to Papa, we love it. Have fun, love Gram and Papa
